Awana is a global, non-profit ministry, committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him.
Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. This is better understood when read along with the key Bible verse which is 2 Timothy 2:15, “ Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Awana Calendar

During our club time, we use all kinds of activities to introduce and explain the Bible(the “study” part of the key verse). There is Handbook Time, with discussion and verse memorization, Teaching Time, and Game Time, We often have theme nights which emphasize Biblical principles through a whole range of fun activities. All of this helps the clubbers “rightly divide the word of truth,” the Bible. Our Awana club includes Cubbies (4-5 years old), Sparks (K through 2nd grade) T&T (Truth and Training – 3-6th grade). Our program runs weekly through the school year, Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00PM, September to May.
7th grade and above are invited to join LIGHT (Living in God’s Holy Truth), our teen group which meets Friday evenings from 6:30 -8:00.
