The Stone Soup Ministry gathers on the third Thursday of the month, at 12:00 to share a meal. The name comes from the old tale when a visitor came to a small town, hungry. When no one could spare food for him, he took a pot, put in a stone and began to stir. One by one the townspeople brought what they had and together the “soup” became a tasty meal.
Our hope is that all will know they are welcome, and to bring whatever they have to share. There is no age restriction. After our meal we share prayer concerns, pray and visit. We usually adjourn around 1:30PM. Please call the church if you have any questions. Better yet, just come by on the next third Thursday at 12:30 and see for yourself.
